Who we are

We are a church that serves an Extraordinary God as ordinary people.

We exalt the real Triune God as real people.

We gather on Sundays to affirm the sufficiency of God’s Word, the togetherness of God’s people, the necessity of God’s gospel, and our dependency on God’s care. During the week we live out our affirmations in all the communities God has placed us.

We gather to rejoice in our great God, but we know life can be hard and sorrows can be many. You don’t need to come to church and pretend otherwise. We also know that God is good and gives endurance so that even in our darkest days we can find in him lasting love, deep joy, and certain hope.

OUR NAME

The word GOSPEL means “good news.” The Bible tells us the good news that even though we were sinners, deserve to be punished for our sins, and cannot save ourselves, God sent his Son, Jesus, to die on a cross in our place to pay for our sins. If we trust in Jesus alone to save us, He will. This is the gospel we proclaim! It is the only gospel that gives life.

What does this LIFE look like? Well, this life gives us a new family—God’s family. As a family we GATHER for the GOSPEL throughout week. This life gives us a new identity—a follower of Jesus. As a follower of Jesus we seek to GROW in the GOSPEL through studying and serving together. This life also gives us a new mission—sharing God’s gospel. We desire to GIVE out the GOSPEL because we want everyone to know about the good news of God’s grace in saving sinners.

As a CHURCH we are followers of Jesus who have united together in covenant with God and one another to be a local, visible representation of his people.

our mission

Gathering for the Gospel: The Lord is our primary devotion, so we commit to gather with our church to worship our God.

Growing in the Gospel: The church is our primary community for spiritual growth, so we commit to nurture one another in the faith and encourage one another to live out God’s truth in everyday life.

Giving out the Gospel: The proclamation of God’s name is our primary mission, so we commit to evangelize the lost both locally and globally.

Our VISION

We desire to see each follower of Jesus

connecting the gospel to everyday life

connecting everyday life to the local church

connecting the gospel message to every person

An important interconnection exists between our mission and our vision. Our corporate commitment to Gathering for the Gospel is shown by each individual member connecting everyday life to the local church. Our corporate commitment to Growing in the Gospel is shown by each individual member connecting the gospel to everyday life. Our corporate commitment to Giving out the Gospel is shown by each individual member connecting the gospel message to every person. So then, our corporate commitment to exist For God’s Glory is contingent on each individual member existing in his or her everyday life for God’s glory.
