“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” – 2 Timothy 2:2
At GLC, Entrust is one way we try to follow the Apostle Paul’s example of discipleship. Though we are firmly committed to richly biblical preaching, we also believe it is important for men to have opportunities to talk about doctrines of Scripture in more informal settings. For this reason, Entrust meetings are intentionally relaxed and discussion driven. Entrust is not just a time to hear a speaker, but also to explore our questions and help one another more faithfully follow Jesus.
This year marks 500 years since the Protestant Reformation. In March we will start a study titled, Echoes of the Reformation. It will be part video and part discussion geared to helping us understand the biblical and historical depths of the Christian faith, the importance of God’s Word, and the significance of the five Solas. No purchase or preparation is required. Yet, for those interested in digging deeper, there is a study guide available for purchase.
