Pastor Bryan Heller

I was a lost sinner destined for Hell, purchased by Jesus Christ’s blood on the cross, pursued by God, and saved by His grace through faith. I’m still a sinner, but I’m a sinner who has been claimed by God as his child and professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Because of His grace, I have the privilege of enjoying life together with my beautiful and caring wife, Elaine, as well as two very awesome and loving children, Bryan Paul and Gwyn. Because of His grace, I have the privilege to serve His church as a Pastor. I am a graduate of Northland International University, with a degree in Sacred Music. I pursued a M.Div. from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, ultimately to transfer and graduate from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, IN.

I grew up on the mission field in Uruguay, South America, and as my wife can attest, there is still much of the South American culture in me. I continue to enjoy speaking in Spanish, but find myself a little bit nervous and quite a bit rusty. My wife, Elaine, is the product of Michigan combined with a lot of southern California. She therefore has style and practicality, which can be hard to come by these days. All I can say is, I’m constantly impressed. (Take that for what it’s worth from someone madly in love with her).

In 2005, GLC was looking to expand its staff. I was serving as a youth pastor in Michigan. I met with the leadership and it was determined I could benefit the church. January 1, 2006 I started my pastoral ministry at GLC. I was bi-vocational for the first nine months and then the church offered me a full-time position. I graciously accepted and now cannot imagine serving anywhere else.

My desire for Gospel Life Church is that we be a place where Jesus is exalted in everything we are and do. And that the Family of God be seen as the greatest family of all – for it is! It is the family that will last forever.
