Resolutions

Truth is meant to be more than informational, it is meant to be transformational. Our recent study of Christology and Pneumatology entitled, The Son and The Spirit, was no exception. The purpose of the class was to present you with God’s truth on Christ’s atoning work and the Holy Spirit’s Indwelling work, so that your mind might know it, your actions might align with it, and your heart might feel it. May your Head, Hands, and Heart be affected by the truth, for only then will you have used truth effectively.

With this in mind I have sought to develop resolutions for each lesson of our study. These resolutions are my personal responses that I hope to apply even more specifically over the next few months. May they stir you also to develop responses to the truth, whether they take the form of resolutions or not is entirely up to you. The important thing is that you apply the truth you have learned. So let me encourage you to make some applications.

By God’s grace, let us grow together. Let me also encourage you to share your application with someone else. God calls us to grow in community and it works better this way (this is probably because God is the Creator and he made it this way).

May God bless you, and I thank you for joining me in this study.
